Emmett Township
     - Renovation and Additions

  • Contract Type: Construction Management
  • Completed: June 2011
  • The project included the renovation of existing Public Safety and Administration buildings, totaling approximately 14,000 square feet. Renovations included new administration offices, a new customer service area, and a community meeting room. Further, new public safety offices were constructed along with a new men’s and women’s locker/shower, and training, interview, day, bunk and report rooms. The interiors of both buildings, in most areas, received new electrical and plumbing. Finishes such as drop ceilings, lighting, doors, paint, and carpet were also being upgraded.
A new apparatus building was constructed directly between two existing buildings using dry block masonry units. This 5,400 sf facility will be used to house police and fire vehicles, as well as other township apparatuses. Four overhead doors were installed on each side (total of eight) to allow a thoroughfare from the newly constructed north and south drives.
